This multitouch surface acquaints visitors to the Liliesleaf Museum with all the people connected to Liliesleaf Farm during the height of the struggle against apartheid in South Africa during the 1960s. The interface lets visitors explore these connections and discover more about these people. Using a visually appealing carousel of silhouettes representing the people involved, the user could swipe and turn the carousel until they found someone they wanted to read more on. Since the content will keep growing, this menu is flexible as it allows more to be added.
Together with DC Interactive, Pixel Project created a Content Management System (CMS) where curators can add people as their research progresses.
