This award winning 2.5 x 1.2m touch table is routinely dismantled and reassembled for the tourism trade exhibition circuit in Europe. South African Tourism is the marketing arm of the Department of Tourism so it was key that the software was engaging and the campaign message was clear to the various stake holders at the various trade shows. Handling up to 8 users simultaneously, the table features the latest tourism campaign videos, an interactive map, trade listings and predictive search which accesses a locally stored version of South African Tourism’s extensive national database. Users are able to add any content that they like to a favourites list and can email themselves from the table. This extends their experience and provides further data for SAT. The software uses a custom- built Content Management System to handle the extensive data. Digital Fabric designed and engineered the table.
