Microsoft required a dynamic, eye catching and brand aligned solution for the unusual arrangement of screens in the reception of the South African head office in Johannesburg.
We installed video walls in the Johannesburg and Cape Town reception areas as well as the MTC reception area. The software runs on Windows 10 and shows a combination of widgets such as live social media and news feeds, videos, images, weather with live video, events, peoples birthdays and welcome messages. The content is easily managed via onedrive folders and XL spreadsheets.
The result - bespoke software that extended their Windows 8 Metro branding to the screens using a variety of widgets that either pull live information from online data feeds or displays branded content that can be updated via a user friendly customised back end.
This area in MTC has 8 adjacent screens which required a very custom solution for creating seamless content. The solution required the retailer to switch between generic animated media and specials and promotion videos.
Using a specifically sourced selection of footage and animation, we created a seamless looping vista of cityscapes, ambient scenes and flowing animations across all 8 screens.
